tip for thinning acrylic paint

use some Tamiya gloss clear, according to one modelling website, to prevent airbrush tip dry...think I'll give it a go

Tap water works for me when I'm using a paintbrush.

and here's another tip I saw while idly flicking through a copy of a modelling mag

mix some Future, or your country's equivalent, with the acrylic paint at a ratio of 40-50% Future and the remainder paint, and then add some acrylic flow improver mixed with distilled water

add more Future to make a glossier finish
