You'll notice that Mike's looking down at the myriad boxes of stuff for sale ranged in front of our stand of course.

As some of them were his, I'd be surprised if he was looking to INCREASE his stash, but you never know.  ;D ;)

They're Howard of Effingham's Terry, and very nicely done they were too.

Excellent stuff Kit, many thanks for that.
Who is responsible for the Short Sealand? Although I think I can guess.

Well done everyone who had models on display, they look terrific.

That Sealand does look very nice, got one in the stash too. Wonder if I can give it the same amount of justice  ----

The Sealand is the 'Lift Here' resin kit (what a crazy name for a model company! :o) and it's Mike McEvoy's build.

I have one them too, although mine may end up with turbo-props eventually.  ;)

Now that sounds interesting.

Out of interest, there's two surviving Sealands, one in a museum in India   :o

I've always liked it, ever since seeing it at Farnborough one year, back when you could walk up and touch the aeroplanes, and watch it fly an hour or so later.

These days the CAA would have a dose of the vapours at the very thought of anyone doing that!

The original aircraft had 340 hp Gypsy Queens, I could see it with a pair of Twin Otter PT6A-20 engines (550 shp)

Apparently there's three surviving aircraft. Which is surprising as there wasn't very many produced (14 including four pre-production versions)
