That's a 1/32 heavily modified post apocalyptic 80s Toyota Supra being chased by an even more heavily modified post apocalyptic Nissan Skyline. It's part of a diorama which is the subject of a thread somewhere on this forum.

OK, thanks - so *not* the 1/24 Fujimi Mad Police range then?

Cheers

I have taken to attending craft markets in order to share my fiendish works with the world. So far I have profited to the tune of $42 at the one fair I attended. I shall attend another today (It's 0630 here...) where I shall vend mighty wares. Including hobby dragons.
As a result, and surprising none who know me, I have started ANOTHER blog.
Top Toys by Bearded Men.
This is a lame pun, and I do not make spinning tops. However, you may look upon it to see such strange things as:
  • An army of wooden piggies
  • Robotic hippo shaped christmas ornaments
  • Hobby dragons and dinosaurs and dirt bikes
  • Scale Reference Cat chewing on my christmas tree to give you an idea of it's scale
There are no good kits, bad kits or grail kits, just kitbash fodder.

Cool kids with parents to match don't ride hobby horses.
Hobby horses are totes old fashioned and lame.
Cool kids with parents to match ride hobby unicorns. And hobby dragons. And hobby T-Rexes. And hobby Dirt Bikes.

I've got a few more on the go, but these were the ones which I had ready for the craft market today.
See the blog in question for more on the vital questions of the day.

Cool - nice to see some actual craft at a craft fair: I went to one today and it was 50% market traders selling stuff you could buy in the shops... :banghead:

While pasta boils, a man's thoughts turn to matters of updating his carpentry thread, which has gotten really out of hand.
Today I suddenly realised I needed to make a new christmas tree to replace my foamcore pyramid covered in wrapping paper. Becasue you cannot hang decorations on a foamcore pyramid covered in wrapping paper. And I keep making decorations...

Yes you can: you can screw cup hooks into the foamcore and hang decorations on those...  ;)

BTW, did you see the baby mobile I made? It was largely inspired by your adventures in carpentry, for which many sincere thanks.

Screws and foamcore don't mix. I've tried it. The foamcore is not dense enough to hold them...

I am pleased to see that the next generation of weavers will grow up gazing longingly upon Soyuz modules...

Okay then, stick cocktail sticks through the foamcore and hang ornaments on them.

Little Harvey is not, I have to say, the next generation of Weavers, but of Weaver's friends.
