Brewster Blizzard MK IIc
« on: October 04, 2015, 05:16:00 am »
The Brewster fighter originally a French order was taken on by the RAF .

The Mk II combined existing airframe with a new engine which gave the diminutive fighter a new lease of life.

Engine production difficulties meant that only 1 squadron saw service during the Battle of Britain.

It'd make a good pylon racer after the war!
Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Merlin ?

 ;)

Now that's something I'd like to see... a Buffalo with a Merlin engine?! ;)

A Pegasus or Mercury would work fine?

A Bristol Hercules! Armed with 4 20mm Hispano cannons. One in each wing and two in front of the cockpit.
