I can imagine....brittle plastic is no fun at all !

I was also going to suggest moving the fuelling hose up to the back of the cab....just in case it gets stuck under the wheel and ripped off !

Gimme a "F"!
Gimme a "U"!
Gimme a "C"!
Gimme a "K"!
What does it spell???...

Yes, only the front axle was broken 5 times at 2 places!  :-\
All but one wheel hubs I had to splint with inner coaxial pins.
Every of the 2 hinges of the bonnet/hood has broken at different times... so I finally glued the bonnet and my movable cooler-protection becomes obsolete.  :banghead:
And these are only the most important examples.

O.k., the hose... maybe... I was only lucky to find a good place to install. But right NOW I have an idea: wrapping a belt around the hoses' loops.
Behalve or all art of engineering, the talent of improvisation is verrry important in times of zombiecalypse.

Thx a lot, Weaver!

Trust me, inspite of all frustration because of the brittle plastic, it was a looot of fun!

We call them 'bungee chords' over here. Rubber band with a hook on each end. Some folk call them tarp straps too.....

Sounds like Zombieplough was fighting back during this project! Looks like you won the fight.

I know Stephen Fry and Julianne Moore... but no Julianne Fry and especially no "Julianne Fry attachement".
Who is she and what is it? (Google shooks it's shoulders.)

There used to be a device called The Veg-O-Matic.  It was a 1960s invention and the thing had different blades that you pressed down on the top to jam food through and slice. It advertised "It slices, it dices, it Juliannes"! BUT if you put something too large or too hard onto it the blades would break loose and unwind from the mount violently! It could cut someone badly. Imagine having a two foot long, 1/4 inch high razor blade flopping around by your hands and midsection!  :o
"Soon we older kids were saying "It slices, it dices, it will screw you all up"!
