Yes....is that ever ! Great idea too....would have been perfect in Borneo and maybe still around for the first Gulf War.

I read somewhere, that if Sikorsky deleted the main cabin of its CH-53 Stallion design, and turn it into a CH-54 Tarhe-type arrangement, it would save something like 6 tons in structural weight, which could thus be equated to an additional 6 tons of payload!!
