I take it that you sprayed it freehand
Yeah, all freehand and no masking. The trick is to properly thin your paint. I used Model Masters Enamel FS34097 Field green, US Army/Marines sand and Testor plain jane flat black(1149). I thinned each with Testor Enamel thinner/brush cleaner. My paint to thinner ratio is about 75% paint to 25% thinner plus or minus 10%( the black was way thinner than the others). It's a bit of trail and error, spray>thin>spray>add more paint or thin> spray...... When properly thinned, the paint should super smooth. Not too dry and not too wet. Anywho... the major paint work is done. Just need to paint the details, nose cone, intakes, wheel bay.....
Note... I'm using an Iwata Eclipe airbrush and Iwata Power jet lite compressor
