British Aerospace Kingstone Sea Vixen 2
« on: March 29, 2011, 11:00:58 am »
my lastest work using parts from a f-18 and Martin p 1216

Built as the replacement for the Buccaneer aircraft in the attack role by the Kingstone factory this aircraft is now flown by the 4 squadrons of the Fleet Air Arm assigned to HMS Queen Elizabeth and the Prince of Wales, and six squadrons of the Royal Air Force were it replaced the Jaguar, as well  as the buccaneer aircraft.
The RAF aircraft are all identical to the shipborne aircraft and are regularly deployed on-board the carriers also.
It has been successful in gaining several major overseas orders such as the German navel air force the Marineflieger and is used by several other commonwealth airforces notably Australia were it beat the highly rated  F-18 in a fly off .

Powerplant: 2 Eurojet EJ200 afterburning turbofan

Amazing! Whiffing a Whiff, whatever next?!
Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

AWESOME!!!!  Captain Canada's cobra comment got me thinking.  A cobra ready to strike has its hood spread.  It needs some CANARDS!!!!
