I did ask the dude from AZ about the possibility of an MB-5 in a thread on Britmodeller.  The response?  They'd started one when they did their Spiteful but never finished the master...  Perhaps they may look at it again?

I've a Merlin MB-2 somewhere and that's not that bad actually, considering it's Merlin.  Fuselage is a bit slim but it's quite buildable.  Wouldn't mind another if I could get one for a reasonable price ie under a tenner.

Nice to see an MB-2 being done, but being resin and from CMK I suspect it will be the wrong side of 30, so a no-go for me.
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

More likely you'll see a CMK MB5 first...

You heard it here first.

1/48th resin Weasel:

http://www.hannants.co.uk/product/CMK8049

ALSO:

Not sure if these are new or not, but they're impressive: 1/72nd scale engines in both aircraft specific and generic (cheaper) sets. Some of these are aimed at recent Airfix releases which are already very nice quality: it'd be fun for somebody to do a 1/72nd Typhoon that looked as good as the 1/24th one, wouldn't it?

The DB 610, a coupled "power system" powerplant comprising a pair of side-by-side configured examples of the DB 605, geared together in the front to turn a single output shaft, was used in Germany's only operational heavy bomber, the Heinkel He 177.

License-built versions of the DB 605 were used in the Macchi C.205, Fiat G.55, Reggiane 2005 and some other Italian aircraft. It was also initially used in the pusher-design Swedish Saab J21. Approximately 42,400 DB 605s of all kinds were built  7.70  6.42
