And the first few compleated for 2024. All 3d printed targets in 72nd scale again. Only the Prototype/Cancelled projects this time.

The High Survivability Test Bed - Light. Better know to those of a certain age group as the Stingray tank from GI Joe.
Chinese 3d print off ebay again. Paint is a mix of Tamiya rattle can, Gunze and lifecolor. No decals on this one as per the sole example built, still knocking around in a museum stateside.

The VT1-2 weapons carrier. An attempt at a modern Jadgpanzer with a pair of 120mm tubes. Based on the running gear of the failed MBT-70. One of two built the other, the VT1-1 carried a pair of 105's instead of the 120's. The VT1-2 is currently on display in the Panzer museum in Munster.
Yet anothe 3d job from China. Paint work is Hataka for the most part. Decals robbed from the remains of a revell decal sheet from a leopard 2.

The M8 Buford air portable mobile gun system. aka a light tank. Intended for the 82nd airborne to replace the M551 Sheridan. In the basic config shown here it was just about air dropable from a C-130. Fine if you only want protection from splinters and small arms fire. The up armored version was to heavy to drop so would need unloading from a Herc the old fashioned way.
The project was Cancelled before any could be depolyed with the 82nd for real.
Yeap another 3d print, this time from Badger 3d productions here in the UK. AK paints for this one.

The C-RAM Centurion. This thing, or at least the trailor mounted version has seen some combat testing in Afganistan. It is rumored the truck version is high on the wish list of new toys for the Ukrainians.
Another Badger 3d productions print. Mig/Ammo for the bulk of the paint job.

I also finished off a number of real world 3d prints along with these:
British army Mastiff and Foxhound MRAP's, US Army M9 armored combat excavator, Austrailian AS21 Redback IFV and M1074 Joint Assault Bridging System. All from Badger 3d.
Also an M50 Ontos and an M56 Scorpion from various Chinese ebay traders.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Size (of the stash) matters.

That C-RAM Centurion certainly shows you what 3 D printing can do. Nice collection Martin

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

And one about the M10 (which is absolutely definitely not the same thing they cancelled 25 years ago): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qfVeoI3euvQ

Dont !!! focus on the house, that 3D stuff can drag you in and become all consuming, just ask Martin

Work on the house so you can build more rooms to put kits and models in!
