It looks fantastic.
Shame it'll be so bad to build.

On the positive side the Brit has pretty small cockpit windows so M2 can't screw up TOO badly on that front.
Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

One of the reasons the real aircraft didn't get certified in the USA, the FAA deemed they were too small. It wasn't until Canadair revised the cockpit windshield with Convair 880 windshields that it got certified.

It's interesting that Mach2 seems to be taking the theme of British cargo/airliners.
Argosy, York and now Britannia, I hope the next one is the Beverley!

Even I'd fork out for a Bev.  ;D

Or a Belfast maybe?

I'm holding out for a Tudor or a Hastings.

I'm very wary of Mach 2 kits (on the "life's too short" principal) but even I would put down $ for a 1:72 Beverley. And I'd build it too!
All hail 1:72!

That would be one big kit to build.

A Bev isn't as long as a Brit and only 3" wider in 1/72 scale, but it's maybe three times as tall!

But you could store some of your stash inside it I guess.  ;D

As many are no doubt aware, Mach Poo's latest release is a Comet 4C in two boxings - RAF and Dan Air.

According to a mate who worked on the real thing, it's okay but the window line is too high, the various vents are too big, the u/c doors are the wrong shape and the intakes are too big, being closer to Nimrod size.

Still, it's an injection Comet and has to be easier than the Transport Wings or Airways vacforms!

Wow!
Plenty of whiffery if you are building the Nimrod airliner.
I wonder if it's compatible with the Airfix kit?

Bearing in mind the Airfix Comet is 144 and Mach Poo's is 72nd, no, I doubt it.
