The Delta Meteor (P.262) and the PR Javelin (P.348) are interesting.  Any info on predicted performance for these?  Also, where did you find them?

Greg
All hail the God of Frustration!!!

Great find Jon,  I had always thought this aircraft had evolved from the Meteor,

there's so much here that looks like a stretched Meteor
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

The 188 was a Bristol design and quite separate from the Gloster family.

Hi Greg,
the drawings all come from the 2nd Edition of 'Gloster Aircraft Since 1917' by Derek N. James, Putnam 1987. The book gives no data beyond the captions.

Found some info on the delta-wing Meteor, P.262, in 'The Gloster Meteor', Shacklady, Doubleday 1963.

Wingspan: 43'
Length: 44.5'
Height: 8.6'
Max speed: 565 mph at sea level
Combat radius: 675 miles w/drop tanks

The first of several I'll be adding, some pre-war like this, more jets and VTOL projects later.

Interesting: a sort of British Curtiss Shrike then?

Those wings look more Westland than anything!

Long delayed Gloster VTOL stuff.
A couple of Meteors and a pair of strike/recce concepts to start with:

That P.507 looks very nice and a couple of the transports look slightly Soviet to me, I think it's the wing plan form ?

Thanks Jon
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
