Two BAE CT-156 Harvard II's took off in quick succession yesterday morning at YYC. I noticed they had a white cheat line down the middle of the fuselage which I'd not seen before, quick google search reveals more photos of the new scheme.

Passing Gloucester on the M5, on the way to IKEA Bristol (guess whose next build is at 1:1 scale!!) a plethora of small helicopters looking like a pond full of airborne tadpoles.  No specific IDs possible,  as the entire  loon population of  the South West was out to play and performing unusual, whimsical and extremely worrying overtaking (and undertaking) manoeuvres all around me.  On the way back, a pair of  RAF Herculeses and an A400 M all travelling East at very low altitude near Tewkesbury.

Ah yes, that's a known low level routing to and from the Welsh exercise areas. It was MUCH more fun when the Buccs used it.  ;D

Not sure what is going on around Calgary yesterday but I saw three RCAF aircraft land at YYC. First one was a CF-188, followed about an hour later by a CT-145 (King Air 350) in a new livery. This was quickly followed by an all yellow CC-138 Twin otter.

(Not my photos, I found them on the internet)

had a single engine yellow biplane proceed across the back, wrong way for cosi so possibly just a general weekend pleasure flight.  and just had a gaggle of 5 and then 6 single engine fast jets  as they were tailing smoke for park of the time they were in view, im guessing the red arrows

Had an RAF A400, AKA an Atlas C1, doing a couple of approaches here to-day.
On his first go around I noticed that he had something red on his fin.
The next time I was able to get a couple of, yes not very good photos, that showed the red on the fin was the RAF’s 100th marking.

Directly o'head my temporary home this morning I heard something that sounded like a Mega-Harvard!

I dashed outside only to see The Blades aerobatic team's four Extra 300SCs flying across in an EXTREMELY tight formation! They flew in echelon starboard and each wing was in between the previous aircraft's wing and tailplane!  :o

They weren't doing a display either, just cruising across the sky. Amazing.

The usual light aircraft and special forces helicopter...…...but then a brace of Chinooks, very low and flying south very fast.   Round about lunch time, either one very energetic Skyvan, or possibly a more lethargic two of them repeatedly buzzing round Shobden airfield.

Saw a very nice Sikorsky Seaking civilian version flying west along interstate 80 south of Chicago.

Had a Merlin HC3 fly over us as we were driving past Dorchester yesterday teatime as it was heading back to Yeovilton, then late last night as we sat in the Caravan at the top of the beach we could hear a helicopter and it turned our to be a pair of Merlins doing night ops at sea in Lyme Bay just before midnight. However they assumed a regular return to base over at height back to Yeovilton, in previous years we have had them fly low level directly over the van doing a night coastal insertion flying up the valley
