Yesterday:

A robinson R-44
A cessna
3 or 4 F-16As. I saw the 2 of them chasing each other, and i heard the 3rd, but didnt see it. Perhaps a 4th was chasing the 3rd. Lots of widebodies (airliners) above the clouds.
The good old S-61 every now and then.

AlphaJets and 2000D from Mont de Marsan flight test center
(but no Rafale alas!  :( )

My crazy neighbour is a private pilot and regularly fly on the DR-400 of the local aeroclub. Its favorite hobby is making low-level flypass over our houses.
I know that because when I was its passenger he did such flybys and this was... unforgivable!

Securité civile Alouette III (and now EC-145)

some days ago a private A350 (not the airbus, the Eurocopter squirrel) with a camera overflew our valley at very low level. No idea what it was seeking nor filming
But it was not painted black, and has a standard registration on its side. So at least it was not CTU nor CIA
Alas the digital camera battery went dead just at this moment  :(

King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.

Directly overhead, just some F-16s turning short final for the south end of the Carswell Field runway.  Off to one side, on a direct approach to the field, assorting C-130s and at least one all-black T-38.

Not over my place, but a few days back I was visiting the town of Kutna Hora which is about halfway between Prague and Caslav.

While I was waiting to start a tour of one of the town's tourist attractions a Gripen and two L-159 ALCAs from the base at Caslav winged it over (one at a time not all together)

Not fast enough with the camera unfortunately.

Out walking 5 miles south of my house today, got caught in a torrential downpour, but saw a Tornado F3 and an Su-30MKI in very tight formation overhead.  Don't see that everyday B)

No camera (again!!)  :dum:

Seems that there's an exercise between RAF and IAF these days (2 - 12 th July 2007). First encounter between Typhoon and Su-30 MKI    (and Tornado F3 as cannon fodder  for these two  )

Not quite over my home, but over the Steam rally i was working at yesterday

Red arrows formation fly by
Northants police chopper
Northants /warwickshire Air Aumbulance A 109.
DC-3
Pair of Extra 300's
Bell 206 doing joy rides.
Cessna Skymaster (very rare beast around here)

and over the house at least 3 times
DC-3 shuttleing between coventry to duxford.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Yes, they are here for a joint exercise with the RAF, based at RAF Waddington (I saw them up close at the airshow).  My understanding of the exercise is it is a co-operation job, rather than a Flanker v Tonka bitchslap.

I live in northern Lincolnshire, about 40 miles north of Waddington.
